About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

hi, I am living in Japan. I hold a Philippine passport. Do I need a visa to stay 1 day in Shanghai?

I will be travelling from Canada to the Philippines with a transfer in Shanghai airport 1 day layover. I have hotel accommodation. Do I need to get a visa? I hope for your reply. Thank you.

If the layover time in Shanghai is less than 24 hours, you can use the 24h twov. No need to apply for visa.
