4 Hour Stopover in Shanghai with Passport Expiring in 2 months

I'll be travelling on a one-way trip next week from Chicago to Philippines with a stopover in Shanghai. My Philippine passport will expire in June (less than 3 months), I won't be going out however of the Shanghai airport given the 4 hour stopover. Will my current passport be enough?

You have to get a new one. The 3-month minimum validity is enforced by the airlines and they have the right to refuse travel if it is not met.
