About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit in Shanghai for 5 hours holding Myanmar passport

I am Myanmar passport holder, will be travelling to Singapore transit in Shanghai PVG airport T1 for 5 hours. Both inbound and outbound flights are at PVG T1. Do I need to transit visa?

You can get free transit in Shanghai. No need to apply for a visa.

You did not mention from where will you depart to Shanghai. This is very important detail, because it has to be a country or a territory different than China and Singapore. If this is correct and your country of the first flight departure is different than China and Singapore, you are definitely within the legal frame for 24 hours TWOV.
