About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

Girlfriend is Chinese in China, I have visitors Visa...

My girlfriend is a Chinese citizen living in China.
I am a Canadian only with a visitor's visa. We would like to get married in China but I think I must have Chinese resident status.
What are the possibilities?

Hi, you could get married in mainland China with tourist L type. Just give it a try.

I just registered marriage in China & got those pair of red Chinese marriage pocket books (marriage certificate) on the same day. I was having "L" visa on the day of marriage registration.

Congratulations, you can change Q visa which has 180 days valid time.

I can confirm you can get married in China on a trousit visa I have done so myself, in 2015 I married a Chinese citizen in Beihai Guangxi China and I to also have one of those red pocket books.

You can register marriage in china but you must go obtain your Canadian personal details.
1. Get a certs that prove your are single and unmarried.
2. Get all your document translate to chinese and get approval china local lawyer firm and get stems.
3. Get your wife hukou(household registration)
4. Photocopy all colour documents(translate and original copy) pls bring all your original copy.
