About:Chinese Consulate in New York

Visa by Mail

I live in Cleveland, Ohio and have booked a trip to China on May 30 for two weeks to visit my daughter-in-law's family. May I apply for a visa by mail or do I need to travel all the way to New York?

You should apply the visa in person from the consulate general where your living area belongs to. Or you can find someone else to do that on your behalf.
