About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Route AMS-SHA-CDG eligible for 72 hour transit visa ?

Would the route from Amsterdam to Shanghai, stay for less than 48 hours, then from Shanghai to Paris be eligible for 72 hour
free transit? Thank you

You are definitely eligible for 72 hours transit free, but have in mind that your flights should not have any other landings within mainland China and your citizenship has to be among 53 eligible countries.
