About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing to Shanghai from US

Hi, is it possible to arrive in Beijing from USA then take a train to Shanghai, then move on to Manila Philippines?

Or do I have to take train to Shanghai for a day and then back to beijing to fly to manila.

Visiting multiple regions is not possible under 144-hour transit, so if you want to visit Shanghai for more than a few hours, your only choice is to arrive in and depart from Shanghai on international flights.
