144 Hr Free Visa - Cruise from Singapore to Shanghai
Hi
I will be flying from UK to Singapore via Abu Dhabi. Join a cruise at Singapore, calling at Vietnam and Hong Kong, from Hong Kong to Shanghai where I disembark, stay in hotel for 2 nights then fly from Shanghai to UK via Abu Dhabi, can anyone advise if I would qualify for 144hr free transit .

Yes, you are perfectly within the legal frame for 144 hours visa free travel. Shanghai is specific because it is allowed to reach it by boat and leave it by air. Please, just keep in mind that you do not have any other port call in mainland China between Hong Kong and Shanghai!
