About:Visa on Arrival

Does anybody know the operating hours of the VOA office at Shekou Port?

I land in Hong Kong at 5.30pm and wont get to Shekou port until 7.30pm

The open time is 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 17:00. You may go to other ports or depart in the next day.

Hi Emma, thank you for your feedback. I caught a ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port the next day and landed at Shekou port just after lunch at 12.30pm.
I was told by a staff member in the Duty free shop that the Visa counter would not open until 2.00pm the same as your reply, after taking my free passport photo at the booth next to Visa counter I only waited for 30 mins and a lady opened the Visa on arrival counter at 1.00pm, so I was able to complete the Visa process and be on my way by 1.15pm
So it seems the opening hours are not set in stone, but probably a good idea to use them as a reference.
