About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Multiple Transit Visas

Hi,
I hold a UK passport. i am flying from London to Shanghai with a with stop over in Chongqing (5 hours waiting in airport). i will be spending 5 days in shanghair before flying to Taipei. Will i be able to get multiple transit visas (one direct transit visa for Chongqing and one 144 hour transit free for Shanghai)?

You cannot get free transit because of the layover in Chongqing. You are supposed to apply for a visa for it.
