About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I get a transit visa? Swedish citizen

Hi Im planning going from Tokyo to Stockholm. It is a mulitple city ticket and the plane will first fly to shanghai, then beijing and onwards to Stockholm. I was wondering if it is possible to receive a transit visa in Shanghai? I am not planning to stay in Beijing.

How long is your transfer in China.
If it's under 24h, you don't need any visa.
If it's longer you have to apply for a tourist visa.

Hi thomas it is more than 24 hour stay, so i guess tourist visa is required.
