About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Multi leg flights

Hi,

If I buy separate flights (not with same airline) before I start my trip to do the following:

LAX to Beijing
Stay 72 hours

Beijing to Bangkok
Stays 5 days

Bangkok to Shanghai
Stay 72 hours

Shanghai to LAX

Is this okay?

You will be ok to apply the free transit in China twice. No visa will be needed.
