About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

Urumqi / Xinjiang province

I want to visit Urumqi (which is in Xinjian province) for a few days, do I need a chinese visa? I am a Canadian citizen.

My focus would only be in that region.

Yes, you are supposed to apply for visit L type for the trip.
