About:Hong Kong - Zhangjiajie Train

How can I transfer from Guangzhou South Station to Guangzhou Station?

I am thinking about to go to Guangzhou South first from HK and then take the overnight train K9036 to Zhangjiajie? Which train should I take from HK to have enough time to make this connection? Thank you for your answer.

There is a metro line 2 go directly from Guangzhou South to Guangzhou taking 50min. Also, you need to prepare another 30 to 40min for boarding process at Guangzhou Station. So as long as you can have a 1.5 hours break between, it would be OK. By the way, collect both tickets in advance in HK!
