Australian Permanent Resident, holding Indonesian passport transiting for 2 days in Shanghai

Hi there, my wife is an Australian Permanent Resident holding Indonesian passport intending to stopover for 2 days sightseeing in Shanghai on the way back to Australia from Europe. Does she need visa?

Yes, she needs a visa. It's nationality that counts, not residency.
