About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Help please, flight next week.

I am flying from Japan to Beijing (PEK) and will arrive 31/03/19 23:15.

Depart Beijing (PEK) at 8:30 AM on 2nd/April/2019 to Western Australia with China Southern Airline but with stopover at Guangzhou (CAN) for 2 hours, will stay in the airport. All flights are booked with the same airline.

Would I be eligible for the 72 hour free transit? Australian passport holder

You do not qualify for 144 hours visa-free transit because two stops in China limits you to 24 hours. You must get a visa before you travel or change your flights, otherwise you be denied boarding in Japan.
