About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

London - Beijing - Japan Then Russia - Beijing - Singapore.

Complicated one this.
Fly from London to PEK (indirect, via Singapore) stay a few nights in PEK, then leave on a cruise, which then goes to Japan. So I reckon that is ok for the 144 hour rule.
Issue is, the cruise later calls at Russia, before ending in PEK, where I then fly to Singapore for a few days.
Which again on it's own would be ok for the 144 hour.
But I'm concerned that you can't use the 144 hour twice in a short period of time.
Help please?

There no limitations on how many times you can use transit without visa, as long as your itinerary and passport qualify each time.
