Should I buy Chengdu Transportation Card if I stay for 4 days?

How much is the card and is there any deposit required as well as where can I get the card at the airport? Thank you.

As I know, there is no 3 day metro pass or 4 day metro pass nowadays. And for your short stay, you are not suggested to purchase the transportation card. Just purchase the subway ticket when you taking it.

I don’t mean a 3 or 4 day pass but a top-up transportation card as the article mentioned that you will get 10% off with the transportation card. Why is it not recommended?

Yes, the ordinary transportation card can enjoy the 10% off. As I know, it won't be so easy for you to return the card and get the deposit. However, using the transportation card, you can actually spend less.
