what time to hike to Huashan Mountain east peak from west gate to catch sunrise?

Hi, I plan to stay at the foot of the mountain area and only hike the mountain very early morning.
May I know if the west gate is accessible at any hours? I guess I need to hike as early as 12am to make sure I can catch the sunrise?
