meet & greet at the airport at Shanghai Pudong Airport

will arrive via DL at Shanghai PVG. A friend will pick us up; Can he get inside the arrival hall to meet us near the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank between Gates 10 and 11 in the Arrival Hall of Terminal 1? if not, at what Gate No. or nearest landmark can we stand by so he could easily meet us? do we need to get down the 1st floor or at the 2nd floor only? pls help it's our first time. thanks for your help.
