Need to renew soon to be expired CHINESE passport

Need to know how to renew my soon to be expired CHINESE passport.
What must I bring with me to renew the passport that will expire on 21 May 2019?
How long will I have to wait if I appear in person to do this?
How much money will be needed?

You should prepare your passport and its copy, a completed application form, and 4 passport-style photos, Chinese ID card, residence permit in the US, an introduction letter as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary. It usually takes 15 working days for the processing.
