About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Hong Kong to Beijing then to Dubai.

While in HKG I wish to visit Shenzhen then go back to HKG after three days in Shenzhen. I’ll then be flying to BJ for 4 days. Because I’ll have visited China and I’ll have a visa in my passport can I then take advantage of the 144hr transit visa in BJ?

For HKG > Shenzhen > HKG you can apply for the single entry VOA. Its only good for the Shenzhen portion of the trip. Then you can fly HKG > PEK > Dubai and take advantage of the 144 hour transit without visa. You will need to visit the visa free transit desk and apply for entry permit when you get to PEK as its considered a separate entry and not covered under the Shenzhen VOA.

Thank you very much for the info. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be eligible for the transit visa in BJ because I’ll have already visited Shenzhen while in HKG. I thought having a Chinese visa sticker in my passport may prevent my transit in BJ .
