About:China High Speed Rail First Class vs. Second Class

Can I upgrade to first class seat on the train? How much is the charge?

Currently I only get second class, will I be able to make an upgrade later after boarding?

Yes, it is possible to make upgrade onboard, but there need to be free seat. You should pay the price difference between the first class and second class. If you plan to make the upgrade, you'd better to prepare enough cash with you. They do not accept credit/debit card.
