About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ
I'm a bit confused for Paul's reply from USA. What does it mean Cx not applicable ?

CX = Cathay Pacific. If you fly on Cathay Pacific then you'll fly Hong Kong-China-Hong Kong which is not applicable for transit without visa.
