Hi, is there a direct bus or train that I can make a return journey from Guangzhou to Wulingyuan?

You are suggested to take a direct train from Guangzhou Railway Station to Zhangjiajie Railway Station. The duration is around 15 hours. The ticket fare of soft sleeper is CNY508.5, hard sleeper is CNY340.5 and hard seat is CNY172.5. After arriving, take a coach to Wulingyuan.0

Many thanks for your advice and help - it is much appreciated. Do you know if it is worth spending the extra money on a soft sleeper ... I'm nearly 6 feet tall!
