About:Guangzhou Train Schedule

Transfer time from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Guangzhou South

My flight arrives at Baiyun Airport at 12.30pm. Given that I need time to clear the immigration and have brief lunch at the airport, then proceed to take the metro to Guangzhou South HSR (Guilin as destination), would to be able to suggest the best High Speed departure time bound for Guilin? I am not familiar with the layout South Station, so may need to factor in the time for collection of tickets. Will a 4pm departure be sufficient time for me?

The transfer from airport to South Station should take around 1.5 hours and you need at least 1 hour (if possible 1.5 hours would be better) for ticket collection and security check. Another one hour should be prepared for immigration check and luggage collection at the airport. So maybe it is safer to choose a later one around 4:30pm.
