About:China Train Ticket Booking FAQ

Passport ID number

I’m renewing my passport, so can I first reserve the train tickets with My old passport ID number and then updated it with my new one when I get my new passport!? Or should I wait till my new passport comes out !?

Once the tickets are confirmed, all passenger information including passport number cannot be changed. Therefore, it would be better to use most updated passport information for booking. Hope for your kind understanding.
