About:Guangzhou South Railway Station

Can I stay overnight in the waiting hall of South Station?

I will be land at Baiyun International Airport around 11pm and will take the first train next day to Guilin. Can I stay there overnight as I will have a paper ticket in hand?

It is a pity that the South Station does not open to travelers during night time. The station should be closed around 11 or 11:30 in the night and open again around 5:30am the next day. So you will need to find a hotel nearby instead. Or you can stay in airport and then transfer to the station the next day.
