I work with the Forestry Commission in Ghana and have invited by the Chinese Academy of Forestry together with other colleagues of mine to attend a program in Beijing in May. What step should we take to secure a visa? Thank you.

You should first prepare a filled-out application form affixed with 1 passport-style photo, your passport and its photocopy, your incumbency certification, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation and an invitation letter from your China, bank statement. Next, go to the embassy of China to submit the application.
