Limit to the number of "visa-free" visits

Hi,

Would it be possible to fly from South Korea to Beijing - use the 144 hour twov exemption - exit to Hong Kong. Then a few days later fly from Hong Kong to Guilin - use the 72 hour twov exemption - exit to Malaysia? All flights would be direct.

Are there any limits to the number of times/frequency the visa exemption can be used so long as you meet the conditions of country A-B-C?
