About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Uk - Beijing - HK - Shanghai - Uk

Can I spend 6 days in Beijing, go to HK and then spend 6 days in Shanghai on the way back without a visa? Two 144 stops.

Yes this is fine as long as long as your long haul flights are not on Cathy Pacific.

if Cathay Pacific to and from it goes HK -Beijing - HK which is not allowed. Many people ask for same routing and they forget to mention the second Hong Kong landing. I like to cover all bases just in case. BA one way and Cathay the other is fine though as it makes only 1 HK landing
