About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hrs free transit. Just wondering if I need a Visa for the technical stop.

I will travel from London to Auckland, transit and stop at Guangzhou airport for less than 10hrs, however the flight will have a technical stop at Sanya, China for 1 hrs 20 minutes between London and Guangzhou.
