About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Am I eligible for 144 Hour Visa Free Transit in Beijing?

Hi. In October, I am flying from the UK into BJ for 3 days and then leaving Tianjin for a cruise to Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and finish in Singapore where I fly back to the UK. I have a British Passport. Am I eligible for 144 hour visa free transit, and if so do I get that in the UK or in BJ? Thank you.

It's not a visa. When you fly from the UK you must tell the agents at the airport that you will be "in transit without visa" (and use those words). You will have to show your onward travel documents. Then you follow the signs on arrival at Beijing and get your passport stamped.
