about residence permit

i have s1 visa . my wife is working in china . do i need wife s company help for get my residence permit? and what are the document need to submit?thnk you.

You should provide your passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-style photo, health certificate, marriage certificate, as well as an invitation letter from your wife and her passport and residence permit.
