About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

i hold a US passport will fly to guangzhou

Will fly from manila to guangzhou on a friday then fly from guangzhou the following monday. Is this eligible for a free 72 hr transit in guangzhou?

If the next country after transiting in Guangzhou is not the Philippines, you can use the free transit.
