In transit from London Hong Kong Shanghai

I found your reply useful, but didn’t make myself clear enough. I am flying London/Hong Kong ( in transit only, just changing planes) SH for 5 days; then on to Hong Kong for 10 days then back to London. Do I qualify for 144 hour visa?

Thus your travel route is London-HK-SH-HK-London, right?
If so, you cannot enjoy the 144hr visa free policy.
