Guangzhou, visa, transit

I am holding the Thai passport. Do I need to apply for the entry visa if I have to wait for 15 hours for catching the next flight.

If you transit in Guangzhou, you are eligible for 24h twov, and no need to apply for visa.

If I want to find the hotel room to stay over night, do I need to apply for the visa? Is there any hotels in the airport or do I need to leave the airport?

Upon arrival, you should follow the direction signs to find the immigration office where you can apply for the free transit. Your passport and air tickets are enough.
