About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is Seoul - HK - Shanghai - Seoul eligible for the 144 hour transit visa in Shanghai?

Thank you so much for your information.

Q1:
It's not clear to me though if A is Hong Kong (2 hours layover) and I'm going to Shanghai, if I would be allowed to return to Seoul right after Shanghai or if they simply ignore Hong Kong in this case and consider that I'm not transiting but rather visiting China?

Q2: Seoul -> Qingdao, Shandong, China (2 hour layover) -> Shanghai -> Taipei -> Seoul
If I don't get outside of the airport in Qingdao, it's not clear to me if they would count that as A and Shanghai as B on the route, therfore not allowing me to stay in Shanghai for 144 hours. Can you let me know please?

thank you.

Q1. Hong Kong-Shanghai-Seoul is an eligible route for 144 hours transit without visa if those are the only stops.
Q2. The stop in Qingdao disqualifies you from 144 hours, and limits you to 24 hours transit in China.
