About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu
Round trip tickets question for Shanghai non-visa transit permit.
as a US citizen we bought ROUND TRIP tickets from Austin to SH but now we want to go to Hong Kong once we are in SH. Does buying a round trip from SH -> Hong Kong qualify for the visa-free transit 144hr because now i have A->B->C trips? My real question is does the ONE WAY or ROUND TRIP tickets make a difference since it is us who chose to buy two separate trips to exit and re-enter SH voluntarily and there is NO forced layover in SH provided by the airline to reach my final destination?
