Can I carry my personal projector for my personal use as tourist.

I am going to visit my family in China. Can I carry my Small projector for my personal use .I will bring it back to India with me.Is any excise formality is required to avoid any collocation?

Yes, you can. However, is the value is over the limit, it is better to declare in advance.
