Projects in China

Hello, I have 3 questions. I'm a interior design business owner in Hong Kong. I'm a HK residence but I don't have Permanent Residence (PR) status yet. I have Canadian Passport to travel in China. My business started just about a year ago and now there's a meeting which i must attend soon. My first question is, with current COVID situation going on, what I hear is that the mainland borders are still closed to non-resident foreigners. Is this true? Second question is that some people say there's a type of visa that will allow me to enter even during this time. Is this the M visa or F visa? And last questions is do you still go through 14 days quarantine even with these type of visa?

Yes, this is true, the border is still closed.
I'm afraid you can't get such a visa. It's only for those in very urgent situations.
If you can get a visa and pass the virus test before entering, you don't need to go through the 14 days quarantine.
