About:Dual Nationality

I have China and uk passport

Will UK visa officer report to Chinese government that I have China passport? I am applying visa for my mum to come to uk, I have told the uk visa officer I use Chinese passport to go back to China to visit mum.

Hi, they may not report to Chinese government but it is easy for the Chinese government to check it out. So you are still suggested to apply for a visa to go to China with UK passport.

Hi, did you perhaps used the Chinese passport to go in China? Because I'm Chinese and now I have the Italian citizenship and so Italian passport. But I also still have the Chinese one, renewed recently. So it's possible to go in China without a visa in a situation like mine?

Well, as I know, you still need to have the Chinese visa to enter the country.

Hi, I’m also of Chinese citizenship but i do not possess a Chinese ID card, because i was born in Italy (i do have the Italian ID card, with Chinese nationality). I’m currently applying for the Italian citizenship and the process only needs one last signature of mine to be completed, but before that, i wanted to go back to China and obtain a Chinese ID card. Will that be a problem in any way? Note that once i come to Italy, I’ll sign the document and become Italian; and when i travel to China, I’ll enter as a foreigner, and use the Chinese ID only for minor things.
I do know that China does not allow dual citizenship.
