About:Guangzhou Taxi & Water Bus

Are taxis always freely available in Guangzhou?

I am visiting on 25th feb to look at the fashion market on Zhanxi Road and was wondering if taxis are freely available? any peak hours to avoid? and are they friendly to foreigners?

Generally speaking, it won't be difficult for you to get a taxi. But you are advised to avoid the morning and evening peaks (07:00-09:00; 17:00-19:00). I went Guangzhou before and the drivers are friendly. Don't worry.
