About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

UK and Malaysia

I hold a British passport and will be in Malaysia on holiday. I will be flying to China from Malaysia for a weekend. I will then fly back home to the UK from China but passing through Malaysia again. Technically I am going back and forth between Malaysia and China but only so that I can get back to the UK... does this count as three countries? Am I eligible for the 72 hr pass?

Sorry you need to go directly to the third country,. Malaysia > China > Malaysia > UK needs a visa. Final destination does not matter its the flight immediately before and after China
