About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hrs Visa on entry to Shanghai from USA

Can I use this to travel from the USA to Shanghai Pudong Airport stay for 4 days and then return back to the USA from PBG?

USA > Shanghai > USA would not qualify. You need to fly to a different country before returning to the USA.

For example: Chicago > Shanghai on United and Shanghai > Tokyo > USA on ANA would qualify.

For example: Chicago > Shanghai on United and Shanghai > LAX on American doesn't qualify
