About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
Am I eligible to use a transit Visa for the following itinerary?
US citizen
Chicago to Shanghai PVG with airport change to Shanghai SHA (22 hour layover)
Shanghai SHA to Beijing PEK (21 hour layover)
Beijing PEK to Sydney, Australia
I'd really like to see sights on the Shanghai layover and see the Great Wall while on the Beijing layover. I'd be willing to modify plans to fit the transit visa requirements.
Is there a good way to use this itinerary to take advantage of the transit visa? What kind of visa is recommended?
