About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

arrive at one airport, depart from another

I have Canadian passport, I plan on flying from Seoul to Beijing, visit the city for a day, than travel by train to Shanghai, hang for few hours and fly out from there, is it still considered Transit ?

Two stops limits you to 24 hours transit in China unless you have a visa.
