Transit visa requirements.

I am a citizen of Pakistan living in USA as Permanent Resident. Do I need a transit entry permit for my stay at Hong Kong transit for 5 hours ? I am travelling from US to Malaysia.

Yes, you are supposed to apply for transit visa for the layover in HK.

You do not have a US passport so you need a visa. Green cards do not really mean anything outside the American continent.
