Detainment at airport

We are returning home to Canada via Guangzhou after spending 8 wks. in Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, India and Nepal via Guangzhou. Do people generally have an easy time obtaining the 72-Hour Free Transit? We would hate to be turned back at the airport after investing money in hotels and tours.

If your passport and itinerary both qualify then you won't have a problem at all.
