About:Shanghai Travel

We are travelling to India and has lay over in Shanghai.

I am holding US passport and my husband India passport. We booked our hotel as 21 hours is long time to stay in the airport. Do we need a visa to enter China and stay in the Hotel?

No, you don't need visa. Just apply for the stay permit when you arriving at the airport.
